NEWMAN WINS 2ND FEATURE!

MOTTVILLE,MI., SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4,2009-George Flowers led the first 20 laps of the 25 lap Mini Stock feature Sunday at the Mottville Speedway but Jim Newman took over on lap 21 and went on to his 2nd feature win of the season.
For 20 laps it was Flowers, Newman and Eric Frazier battling it out with not even a car length between the 3!
Flowers, on his birthday, settled for 2nd with Frazier 3rd, Kevin Grubb 4th and Tom Davies, Jr.5th.
Heat wins went to Flowers and Frazier.
Mini Thunder Car season points leader Ryan Stauffer won his 11th feature of the season with a 15 lap win over William Rider and Eric Sanderson.
Stauffer also won the heat.
We have 5 Saturdays left in the 2009 season!
The 24th Annual Indiana-Michigan Challenge Cup is Oct 17 and 18.
For all remaining races gates open at 3pm with racing at 4pm.
We will be running Mini Stocks, Mini Thunder Cars, Street Stocks on 790's and Pure Stocks on 790's.
Expected drivers next week for Street Stocks include Al Maurer, Dave Logan and Rodney Spencer.
